Our ‘Thali’, made of seasonal and foraged ingredients, is offered after the botanical walk that introduces guests to the unique plants of the Thar desert. The ‘Thali‘ dinner is served under the stars, with the flickering bon-fire creating a cosy and surreal dining experience.

Our 5 course modern marvar private dining experience introduces guests to our kitchen’s interpretation of the Rajasthani cuisine. The meal is served in the pool room that offers breath-taking views of the property. This intimate setting allows conversations to flow often punctuated with layers of nostalgia.(For minimum 4 guests.)
The Mediterranean inspired lunch served at the Olive Grove is an ode to the modern desert produce. Over the years, progressive farmers from Rajasthan have been experimenting with growing new plant varieties that are tolerant to the arid environment of the Thar desert. This introduction of new ingredients has allowed us to play with dishes and come up with a unique Mediterranean inspired spread. It is served under the Olive trees near Kaner Retreat with a drizzle of the Olive oil from the farm. This alfresco experience has a laid back vibe thanks to the verdant ambience and the cool interplay of the sun and the shadows.
Tea Time is a time for conversations or 'hathai' in 'Marwar' or Western Rajasthan . The tea-stalls never run out of the 'masala chai'. Never will you find so many varieties of 'chai masala 'than in the grocery shops of Jodhpur town. We have our own Kaner chai masala. The Kaner tea is served with an assortment of sweet and savoury dishes.
The star setting is the glass-house offering 360 views of the desert surrounding. It is here that we serve a hearty breakfast with vegan and gluten-free options.
